Esdra meets BID: all updates from 27 September to 4 October
A digital identity for a more connected ecosystem, a more practical catalog and refreshed operational tools. Discover Esdra’s updates from 27 September to 4 October 2026, with BID at the center of a new sign-in experience.
BID: one digital identity, a wider ecosystem
This week’s main development is BID, Huberway’s integrated digital identity connecting Esdra to a network of over 150,000 people, 20,000 companies and 40 platforms. A shared entry point makes it easier to access ecosystem services.
- “Sign in with BID” is active in the Esdra and Expandigo portals alongside existing sign-in methods.
- You can link an existing Esdra account after proving access to both accounts. Matching email addresses never merge profiles automatically.
- Companies, permissions, catalogs, orders and history remain in their respective products. The network does not automatically grant access to other companies’ or platforms’ data.
- bid.huberway.com introduces the identity and network. These ecosystem figures are provided by Huberway; they do not imply that all 40 platforms have activated every BID capability.
- Person, company, professional relationship and authority verification, QR and partner APIs are part of BID’s development and will be announced as they become available.
Catalog: more useful search and practical filters
Search considers titles, descriptions, attributes, sizes and variants through shared criteria across the catalog, POS and EVA.
- Combined and abbreviated queries help find the correct item without its full name. Attributes must match the same variant.
- Compact collapsible filters, a condition summary, reset and a shortcut for positive total physical stock.
- New criteria for main photo, season, type, commercial year, department and intended use, where available in product data.
- Returning from a product sheet restores your search, filters, category, position and view. Progressive loading and filter queries have been optimized.
A product sheet that fits your work
Prices, stock and details are easier to read with a customizable presentation.
- Product, SKU and color remain visible as you scroll. Headers are more compact and filters take less space.
- Customize column widths, colors, visibility and pinned groups, and retain your preferences.
- Sizes, equivalences, measurements and supplier origins are available in operational views.
- Recent operations distinguish sales, payments received and outstanding amounts, subject to modules and permissions.
- Size-based pricing supports fixed increments, percentages or explicit prices, with a preview before applying changes.
Company sizes and supplier origins
The catalog highlights your company’s size standard while preserving the supplier’s original notation.
- When receiving a new item, choose the supplier’s chart and system and see the corresponding company size.
- Conversions use configured chart equivalences, including cups and other dimensions. Numbers alone never create an equivalence.
- Missing reliable mappings are reported before saving. Historical items without an identified chart require an association.
- Quantity inputs and receiving controls have also been improved for small screens.
Orders, returns and shipments: a more consistent experience
Orders introduces Vue views with clearer loading states and smoother interactions.
- Lists and Kanban, order details, creation and reordering, incomplete orders, returns, shipments, invoices and export have been revised.
- Notes, addresses, tax details and shipments update in their relevant sections. Drafts and entered values survive validation errors.
- Commands prevent duplicate submissions and offer error recovery. Totals, availability and transactions remain checked by the business system.
CRM and order collection
CRM order collection uses a shared process for owned and represented brands.
- Brand ownership recorded in the mandate determines operational stock behavior.
- Collection and price-list selections remain stable during loading; Retry repeats the correct read operation.
- The email connection window stays within the mail area with improved readability.
- Launchpad opens work areas directly, retains app order and your favorite app, and brings together Esdra News.
Warehouse, purchasing and POS
Receiving combines images, sizes and operational information in a more complete process.
- Product and color images with previews and removal; more complete quick-create supplier and warehouse data.
- Size-chart selection, equivalences and restored category and measurement presets.
- Receiving details with color images, taxes, clearer line totals and permission-controlled pricing access.
- POS suspension flows were corrected and shared search improved. Quantities, reservations and transactions stay with operational services.
Inbox and EVA: conversations within your work
The new Inbox brings together conversations while keeping EVA as Esdra’s assistant.
- A dock with list, search, categories and conversation, plus a full-page view and phone-friendly layout.
- EVA retains history, available actions and operation confirmations. Command routing and error handling have been improved.
- External channels depend on configured connections and permissions; an interface entry does not guarantee activation.
Notifications, account and payments
A more consistent notification center accompanies navigation across accounts and companies.
- Supported surfaces combine account, Learn and authorized company notifications with clear origins, dates and consistent counters.
- Reading and deletion use one list. If one source is unavailable, other notifications remain accessible.
- Updated cards and payment-method interfaces, together with embedded billing and subscription flows.
- Payment methods and flows depend on provider configuration and your account’s plan.
Marketing and mobile interface
Navigation and operational tools are more consistent across product areas.
- Marketing has a more consistent header and workspace, with forms, filters, tables and dialogs that are easier to use on mobile.
- Headers and side menus group tools more clearly. Shared tables, selectors and bulk-action menus avoid overlap and clipped content.
- Themes, product editor, subscription banner and spacing have been refined to leave more room for work.
- Campaign actions remain subject to permissions and contact eligibility rules.
Esdra Learn: community, groups and chat
Learn continues to grow as a place for guides, updates, discussion and feedback.
- User-requested, Esdra-approved groups with invitations, roles, forums, news and member-only areas.
- Group directories and shared feedback separate public introductions from private content.
- Chat with replies, reactions, photos, files and audio; improved sending, history and read controls.
- Guide search and filters work together; selectors and suggestion image uploads are clearer.
- Groups and advanced features follow their own activation process. Check availability in your Learn area.
Integrations and developer tools
Integration work makes configuration, data origins and operational control clearer.
- Retail feed: improved catalog import, product and variant identification, images, taxonomy, prices and availability.
- Import processes run in batches and retain authorization and version checks. Imported data preserves its origin.
- Developer portal with clearer loading, assisted integrations and original service logos; an API documentation dependency has been corrected.
- Every connection needs configuration and verification in its own environment. Portal improvements do not activate external services automatically.
The new Esdra website
The public website presents the product with a refreshed visual language.
- New scenes and pages for the ecosystem, business operations and integrations, in Italian and English.
- An interactive business-brain illustration connects data, people, processes and decisions.
- Clearer paths to discover Esdra, explore services and reach Learn.
Reliability and next steps
Updates include fixes to loading, navigation preferences, imports and interface assets.
- Release checks now verify essential public assets to detect loading issues before completing publication.
- An analysis for a future PostgreSQL transition has been prepared. This is an evolution plan, not a completed migration.
- These developments are released progressively. Features, integrations and access depend on your modules, permissions and account configuration; some changes have been verified in isolated environments and await operational validation.
- Open Esdra News and Learn’s Updates area to follow upcoming activations.
